GOLDEN DRAGONS

One Club, One Community

A group of loyal supporters joined together to form a coterie group with the specific aims of creating a sustainable club, promote opportunity in sport and support businesses and sponsors within our community.  In 2016 the Golden Dragons were formed. 

The Golden Dragons support the mission of the Sandhurst Football Netball Club:

Within a safe and harmonious environment, we will provide an opportunity for the young men and women of the district to develop their physical and intellectual capabilities through sport. Our club is dependent upon the commitment and dedication of our many volunteers and sponsors.

The Golden Dragons Vision:

“The health and well-being of our SFNC community is our priority for success on and off the sporting field.”

The Golden Dragons Value:

  • Active healthy living and involvement of young people in sport, especially football and netball.
  • A sustainable SFNC that can continue to fulfil its mission effectively into the future.
  • Integrity and service for the SFNC community and support for associated local businesses.
  • Fostering and developing a strong sense of community within the SFNC family.

  1. Ensure sustainability of the Golden Dragons and SFNC into the long term.
  2. Invest and use funds strategically and transparently with the membership and SFNC committee.

Integrity and service for the SFNC community and support for associated local businesses.

 
  1. Act to the ultimate benefit of the SFNC, either directly or via enhanced community or public profile.
  2. Work locally to ensure money stays in Bendigo.
  3. Help support and promote the businesses of members and sponsors.
