Rules about Smoking and Vaping at Sandhurst
While some vapes may not contain nicotine, this is impossible to regulate, so we consider any vaping the same as smoking.
Vaping, and secondary vapor from vaping or e-cigarettes is not harmless, there is increasing evidence of this.
The dangers of smoking and secondary smoke are well documented.
For this reason, SMOKING and VAPING are NOT PERMITTED in:
- Club and social rooms
- Administration and office areas
- Changing rooms
- Toilet blocks
- Indoor spectator viewing areas
- Playing areas
- Eating areas
- Grandstands and spectator viewing areas
- Near entries and exits of buildings, facilities, and the ground
- Further restrictions exist for Under-age sporting events – smoke-free (health.vic.gov.au)
